Reviews
Reviews for this rehabilitation centre are highly polarized. Many families praised the medical team, physiotherapists, and nursing staff for their professionalism, attentive care, and role in patient recovery. Several reviewers highlighted clean facilities, warm staff behaviour, and visible improvements in mobility and health.
However, a significant number of reviewers shared extremely negative experiences, citing severe mismanagement, poor hygiene, untrained staff, billing irregularities, and negligence in patient care that allegedly led to critical health issues. Complaints of misleading communication, lack of accountability, and prioritization of profit over care were also common.
Overall, while some patients reported strong recovery outcomes and compassionate service, others described the experience as distressing and unsafe creating a sharply divided perception of the centre’s reliability and quality of care.
Are family members allowed to stay overnight with the resident?
Stay of family members, within premises, is not encouraged for the resident’s own welfare. It may be a cause for concern because seniors with dementia often take time to readjust after a night stay by a family member. The stay might also disturb the routine of your loved one and other residents.
How do you handle emergencies?
HCAH has all emergency protocols in place, including those for medical situations, fire, and falls. The team is well-equipped and trained to manage emergencies efficiently.
Are there any visiting hours?
HCAH follows an open-door policy, allowing family members to visit during regular hours. However, it is recommended that visitors observe rather than actively participate in routine activities, enabling caregivers to build rapport with residents. Prior scheduling is appreciated to minimize disruption to the residents' structured and healthy routine.
Is basic nursing service a part of the Assisted Living Residence package?
HCAH provides 24X7 Nurse cover. Nursing team stays within premises. Most of the basic nursing care requirements are done in-house and are part of the service fee. This includes:
Medication Management
Diabetes Management (Sugar charting, Insulin administration)
Diaper and Bedsore Management
Catheter Management
Administering IV/IM Drugs
Regular Vitals checkup & monitoring
Ryle’s tube feeding
All emergency care- Oxygen administration, CPR, suctioning
What is the process of admission?
HCAH offers a simple and hassle-free admission process, with support provided at every step. It begins with filling out the contact information form, followed by scheduling a visit to the facility. Families then share medical documents, after which a medical assessment is conducted. The process continues with signing the residency agreement, making the booking deposit, planning the logistics of the move, and finally, welcoming the resident to their new HCAH home.
Can I personalize the room and bring my own furniture?
HCAH encourages residents to personalize their living spaces with their own furnishings, artifacts, and picture frames. Special pieces of furniture with emotional value are also accepted, provided they can be accommodated within the space.
